well, our next cip opportunity is here!

9-17 june, 11am-7pm
pick one date, pick a time slot (eg. 11am-3pm)
ngee ann city, far east, liat towers

we'll be there to perform, and do canning (collect money). but this is a busking kind of thing so we cant play full orchestra stuff with all 41 of us. how we did it last year was people formed their own quartet and came up with their own repertoire, then take turns to play. i think this time we'll do the same thing, maybe not quartet, but octet etc. we have nice repertoire in the strings room, plus stuff like tchaik and warlock and grieg, so should turn out fine. people who are not performing will get the same number of cip hours to be canners.

if you are interested,
**1) find other people who are interested!
2) find repertoire that can fill about 15 minutes.
3) practise so that the pieces are presentable
4) settle attire

lets give ourselves today and tomorrow to think over it, and possibly make our quartets/octets. saturday i'll post again and get your responses. meanwhile, if anyone has any questions, or have confirmed a group prematurely, feel free to let me know in advance.
