Please read this before chapter 2

Chapter 1 of the series "The chronicles of Yrag and Anywde": The discovery

It is 4.01 pm: On what would otherwise have appeared to be an uneventful day, our correspondent who happened to be mysteriously hiding in a bush situated outside room B103 in Hwa Chong Institution (College Section), have uncovered a secret rendezvous that threatens to decimate the face of planet Earth as we know it.

It is 4.02 pm: Two minutes has passed. In a desperate attempt to spread the news, our correspondent dashes up the stairs towards strings room in search of his cellphone.

It is 4.04 pm: There appears to be movement in B103. Yrag and Anywde emerge and head towards strings room.

It is 4.05 pm: Our correspondent reaches strings room, fumbles with the lock, slams the door open, clumsily trips over the double bass, grabs his cellphone and starts relaying the message to the rest of the world.

It is 4.07 pm: Yrag and Anywde reach strings room and notice the door is ajar.

It is 4.09 pm: A bloodcurdling scream echoes throughout the hwachong campus. The relayed message ends abruptly: It seems our unfortunate correspondent has been brutally murdered in an abortive attempt to disseminate the precious information. Just what has happened?
