Hello everyone!

Hmm firstly I wanna thank everyone for your cooperation and understanding, given that today's run through wasn't as smooth-going as expected. Yupp :)

Next, below are things to take note of for friday's performance:
1. Attire: FAC SHIRT and jeans
2. Reporting time: 7.30am, Auditorium, with instruments, cases and scores. (We will be leaving the cases downstairs). Ppl who can come earlier pls do so to help move the stands down.
3. We are excused from assembly and aces day workout. The list of names have been sent out; but pls still tell your CTs that you'll be missing assembly.
4. There were no stage lights after the curtain closure today. However we have requested for working lights (red lights) to ensure smoother entrance and exiting.
5. After our performance ends, we will proceed backstage with our stands and instruments. When we're done keeping the stuff back in strings room, we will then join our classes for the rest of the show.
6. SMILE and ENJOY the performance :)

Hi guys!! (some amendments to the prev announcement, the councillors just sent another email)

Yeahh exams are nearing :(:(:( But jiayou!! one more rhsl to go :)

Yupp it'll be 29 aug; but we'll just be participating in the run-throughs and there wouldn't be any practice in the LT. These are the arrangements for wednesday:

3pm report to strings room, then we'll move down to the audi without instruments for a mass briefing. After the briefing, we'll be having free time until 4.15 when we report to the audi with stands and instruments for the run through.

Run through: 4.15-6pm (although we'll be able to leave earlier if the run is smooth)

It will be a full dress rehearsal so do remember to bring attire (solid coloured tshirt and jeans; the tshirt should be quite plain i.e. not with big words/prints)

hello again!

the prelims are nearing and so are the promos too! mugging is pretty annoying and stressful i know. and this week, me helen sarah have ditched our bridging, pranking, slacking habits to turn over a new leaf! and we have started to exert POSITIVE INFLUENCE on one another!

anyway, its understandable that everyone is will be pretty down in spirits and drained from the stress of impending exams. BUT STRIVE ON PPL!

HEY EVERYONE! :D

This is what's gonna happen this wednesday 22 aug. We'll have our rehearsal as usual at 3pm, but we'll report to the auditorium at 4.30pm to rehearse (4.30 is the time slot allocated to us, so we shouldn't have to wait too long). If all goes well the audi rehearsal will end around 5.20pm or 5.30pm. After that we can still practice if we need to work on any parts, if not then we can pack up and go. :)

Hello stringers!

How have all of you been? Hope all the j2s have embarked on their arduous mugging process! Seeing the worried and disgruntled expressions of seniors in school only makes me indulge more in reveling in my J1 days. Sigh but don't worry press on its just another tumultous tide in life we all have to surf through and i have no qualms that all of you are more than capable of that :)

Anyway! This post is regarding the records of our CCA membership cum achivements on the ISP. For those who have forgotten to register their memberships on the ISP earlier on, I have already submitted all your names to the CCA teacher in charge so ALL of you should have your membership authenticated on the ISP. If your membership fails to appear, please let me know immediately after you've read this. my hp no is 91286126.

I have checked with Mrs Goh; she and Mrs Chua have already updated our strings records and achievements (SYF, Inspirations etc) onto the ISP. However some of you have notified me that the strings records history on ISP still blank; fret not. Just need some time for the ISP to be updated, so keep checking your ISP regularly to see if your achievements are recorded. yup.

hello! here's a cip thing tt u guys may be interested in-

event: concert cum interaction session for residents at the Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled.
hosted by: central CDC's Highfive
date and time: 10th Aug, Friday, from 2pm to 4pm. [it's a sch holiday! hmm]

- The concert itself would be held at the home's in house multi-purpose hall.
- The stage is quite small, more of a platform than a proper stage.
- because the stage is small, only approx 10 performers can fit the stage. lols.
- There will be other performing groups involved in the event too. So before and after the item, we're required to interact with the residents there.

incentives (: Light refreshment will be provided and an event t-shirt will be given.

interested ppl pls form a team and decide what to play (10 mins).
then email either brittany, eunice, jane or me your names, dietary restrictions and t-shit sizes by FIRDAY 3 AUG.
