haha, din know what to name the orientation, so decided to come up with this stupid name.

haha, orientation began with a frantic scuffle, as all of us gathered at the strings room by 3 to start our preparations for strings orientation! haha, i was the centre of attention, after changing into and out of my shorts for three times! argh three times! ya, and i couldn't wear black on black. my shorts where got too short? argh!!! ya, then there was the short interlude between yibing and tiappy, which was totally hilarious! haha!!!

oh, in any case, we were doing our stuffs in the lt5. omg, we even had chilli sauce with our usual concoction of peanut butter and skippy. yummy! haha, it was a real thrill, considering that it would be used for 2 of the games later! yay, the seniors came back, who were basically teng, herbert, and mingtse. haha, mingtse sure was evil, coz she was the official make-up artist, only that she used chilli sauce. haha, poor kids! ok, that forfeit was quite scary, coz it stang and stank!

after which, we played our mumbo jumbo puzzle wuffle. ok, the name was much simpler, but since i got quite high... yep, i got my group, and i shall try my best to recall everyone who were in my group. huiqin, eunice, zhixiang, calvin, waipeng, zhiwei, zhixiong, tianyi, yin peng, baohe, baopeng, joseph, weiling and.. oh shoot i forgot! please remember to smack me the next time u see me. 3 more ppl that i missed out, so sorry!!! yep, we played the game which was totally transparent and showed how our group loved each other! ok, remember now... Sarah, jane and joshua! haha, dun smack me now, coz i will smack u back! weee i remembered everyone!!!



ok, then we proceeded on to play twister, where we saw yibing's group frantically trying to complete the game. haha, we were so sian lor. so easy to win! haha, in any case, i named my group choc'rells! wahaha, inspiration came from the chocolates that i treated my group to! weeeheee!!! so fun lor! yep, then we came up with cheers, like kebaba, and our own version of oo0 - lala!!! haha, we were sure sexy and fun loving sia!!! nothing could stand in our way!!!

then unfortunately, time was not our side. hmmm, wanted to go on a haunted trail with my group after dinner, which happened to be pizza!!! wahaha, be jealous whoever comes to this entry! but hor, ya, rain came and we couldn't sneak into chinese high and continue our haunted trail. such a dampener!!! oh in any case, i think our group is looking forward to an outing soon! rite rite??

This blog NEEDS SOME LIVENING! KI is a great subject. Everyone with the slightest intellectual inclination should feel compelled to sign up for lessons! For example, Descartes says COGITO ERGO SUM! I think therefore I am! Therefore he assumes that thoughts define people. How stupid. Let's say what if thoughts exist independently of a human body? What we are thinking now would be random thoughts floating around, and merely imbued with the idea that it's connected to a solid body capable of thinking. See. Which leads us on to the Evil Demon theory. What if all we have now is an evil demon controlling our thoughts, and there is no world nor universe nor galaxy, and that these are merely artificial implementations stuck into our brains by this demon in question? (Very matrixy indeed.) Then what do we have left to define who we are? However Descartes argues for the presence of a benevolent God who wouldn't find it in Him to manipulate us as much. But! Descartes assumes! And assumptions are the number one GO-AWAYS when it comes to the topic of philosophy. So anyway. And then we have the empiricists who are ever so gaga over sensory perceptions. But that leaves another two long paragraphs to be desired.

Sorry the $30 might seem alot, but we really need it to replenish our ever-dwindling funds. We've spent alot last year on welfare, instrument repairs, photocopying fees and many many little things which all add up. So it's actually not that much considering we're only collecting once and for all for 2007. Yep hope you all will understand.
